Patricia is a veteran, Mexico City-based actress with more than 115 credits on features, TV movies, TV series and shorts, and a three-time Silver Ariel (Mexican Academy of Film / Mexican Oscars) award winner for Best Actress in La Reina de la Noche (1994), El Otro Crimen (1988), and Los Motivos de Luz (1985).
In 2015 / 2016, she played the role of Griselda in season 1 and 2 of the high profile Walking Dead spinoff, Fear the Walking Dead.
She is a member of the board of the Mexican Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and was elected in 2007 as an officer of the Asociación Nacional de Intérpretes (ANDI), the Mexican union for broadcast artists.
Her breakthrough role as a mother who kills her four sons in Los Motivos de Luz won the la Concha de Plata award for Best Direction at the 1985 San Sebastian Film Festival (Spain). In 1998, she was honored to become a judge at that prestigious festival.
Patricia also owns and operates a small actors school with her sister called M&M Studio in the Colonia Juárez neighborhood of Mexico City.
